Several primary care practices within Columbus Regional Health Physicians have been re-certified with the NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) designation for 2026. The practices include Columbus Internal Medicine, Columbus Pediatrics, Doctors Park Family Medicine, Family and Internal Medicine, MyCare Family Medicine, Sandcrest Family Medicine, VIMCare Clinic, Columbus Family Medicine, Columbus Regional Health Geriatrics, and Rau Family Medicine.

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) operates the most widely used evaluation program for Patient-Centered Medical Homes in the United States. The PCMH model is designed to place patients at the center of care delivery. According to research referenced by NCQA, these medical homes are associated with improved quality of care and better patient experiences while also leading to higher staff satisfaction and reduced healthcare costs.

Practices that receive this recognition demonstrate a commitment to ongoing quality improvement as well as a patient-centered approach in their operations.
