North Carolina residents were charged $2,600 to attend the two-year public college in both the 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic sessions.
Non-resident students paid 236.3% more than in-state students in 2022-23, amounting to $8,744, which was consistent with the previous academic year’s rate.
Approximately 99% of the undergraduate student body at the college are residents of North Carolina, with the remaining 1% coming from other states.
Data indicates that 96% of full-time undergraduates who enrolled at Southeastern Community College in 2022-23 received some form of financial aid. A total of 52 students were awarded grants or scholarships amounting to $444,779.
Across the entire undergraduate population, 801 students benefited from grants or scholarships totaling $6.6 million.
