On Sunday, April 6, former Lumberton Senior High School standout Aniya Merritt’s current college team, the North Carolina A&T Aggies, lost 5-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Stony Brook Seawolves.

The game took place at University Field. This was their sixth matchup against the Seawolves this season.

The Aggies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 5 p.m. at Delaware Softball Diamond against Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens.
