On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Whiteville High School standout Ty Lawson’s current college team, the UNC Wilmington Seahawks, lost 10-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Quinnipiac Bobcats.
The game took place at Bill Brooks Field. This was their second matchup against the Bobcats this season.
The Seahawks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 3 p.m. at Bill Brooks Field against Georgia Bulldogs.
