On Saturday, March 8, former Fairmont High School standout Malachi Gales’ current college team, the UNC Greensboro Spartans, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Radford Highlanders.

The game took place at UNCG Baseball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Highlanders this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 1 p.m. at UNCG Baseball Stadium against Radford Highlanders.
