On Saturday, March 8, former South Columbus High School standout Alanna Deal’s current college team, the USC Upstate Spartans, won 15-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Bryant Bulldogs.

The game took place at Patricia Wilson Field. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Upstate Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 12:35 p.m. at Patricia Wilson Field against Stetson Hatters.
