City of Laurinburg issued the following announcement on June 4.
The City’s Annual Fireworks Display scheduled for July 4th at Pate Stadium has been cancelled due to the uncertainty of the number of individuals that will be allowed to gather for a delegation, which the viewers of the fireworks in Pate Stadium and on public rights-of-way are considered. Hopefully the Fireworks Display can be rescheduled at a later date in 2020, but will be dependent upon Executive Orders issued by Governor Cooper.
