Census Bureau: More women than men in Red Springs in 2019

Of the 3,378 people living in Red Springs in 2019, 54.4 percent (1,838) were women and 45.6 percent (1,540) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South North Carolina News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 1,023-to-916. In the 65 and over age range, there were 408 females and 290 males.
