Robeson County Public Library issued the following announcement on Sept. 10.
Wow! In 10 days, we have welcomed 46 new patrons to our library system! We are celebrating National Library Card Sign Up Month. Our goal is to welcome 200 new patrons by Sept. 30! There are free tote bags and coupons for a free ice cream cone to all who sign up. You can also enter our "Sprinkle The Word" contest for a chance to win a gift card combo! There will be special registration events with extra free goodies for kids at the Pembroke Library on Friday, Sept. 17 from 3 - 5 p.m. and at the McMillan Memorial Library in Red Springs on Friday, Sept. 24 from 4 - 5 p.m.
