Columbus County issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.
NOTICE: Waste Industries will be operating under normal business hours this week. Trash collection services will be provided to you on your regularly scheduled pick up day. Please remember to place the receptacle out by the road the night before your collection day. Please contact Waste Industries at 910-499-4646 if you should have any further questions regarding trash collection services during the Christmas holiday.
NOTICE : The Columbus County Recycling Centers will be closed on Friday, December 24, 2021, and on Saturday, December 25, 2021, so that the employees can spend time with their families during the Christmas holiday. Normal operations will resume on Monday, December 27, 2021.
