Robeson Community College issued the following announcement on Jan. 27.
Counselors at Robeson Community College were hosting a “Conversations and Coffee” event today, with morning and afternoon session to reach students on campus.
Students had an opportunity to meet and greet the counselors and also learn about the various resources the Counseling and Career Services offers, such as advising to decide a major, disability services available, assistance with finding a job, and guidance for those who may be struggling with issues outside the classroom.
The counselors in the morning session had a chance to chat with 55 students, and they are hoping for a similar turnout. The afternoon session was happening and run until – 6:00 p.m. in Building 13.
