The NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) recently updated the Strong Schools NC Toolkit for COVID-19 protocols. Effective, Monday, February 21, 2022, individual contact tracing and exclusion from school of asymptomatic people after an identified exposure is no longer recommended statewide in K-12 schools.
