Robeson Community College honored its 2022 Emergency Medical Science graduates with a pinning ceremony on its campus, May 2 at 6:30 p.m. It was the first pinning ceremony ever held for EMS students at RCC.
The significance of the pinning ceremony celebrates their rite of passage from a student to a certified paramedic and completion of the associate degree program.
Students were pinned with a special EMS paramedic pin and received flowers from their instructors, Thomas Byrd, Erica Parks, and Dr. Field Davis.
Serving as Marshalls for the ceremony were first year EMS students Megan Harris and Tiana Scott.
