TaNiya Simms, a former standout at Fairmont High School who now plays for the Winston-Salem State Rams, is preparing to take part in the Division II NCAA Basketball Tournament.
The Rams earned the No. 3 seed and will take on the No. 6 seed Glenville State Pioneers in their first game of the tournament.
The opening contest is scheduled for Friday, March 13 at 12 p.m. at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.
