On Tuesday, March 18, former Lumberton Senior High School standout Aniya Merritt’s current college team, the North Carolina A&T Aggies, won 10-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks.

The game took place at Lady Aggies Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Aggies’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 at 2 p.m. at Lady Aggies Softball Complex against Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks.
