On Friday, March 14, former Whiteville High School standout Ty Lawson’s current college team, the UNC Wilmington Seahawks, won 11-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Charlotte 49ers.
The game took place at Bill Brooks Field. This was their first matchup against the 49ers this season.
The Seahawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 2 p.m. at Bill Brooks Field against Charlotte 49ers.
