On Tuesday, March 11, former Whiteville High School standout Ty Lawson’s current college team, the UNC Wilmington Seahawks, lost 7-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the North Carolina Tar Heels.
The game took place at Bill Brooks Field. This was their first matchup against the Tar Heels this season.
The Seahawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at Bill Brooks Field against Charlotte 49ers.
