On Wednesday, March 5, former Lumberton Senior High School standout Aniya Merritt’s current college team, the North Carolina A&T Aggies, won 4-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Queens Royals.
The game took place at The Stick Williams Dream Fields. This was their second matchup against the Royals this season.
The Aggies’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 1 p.m. at Lady Aggies Softball Complex against Monmouth Hawks.
