On Friday, March 13, the Winston-Salem State Rams, featuring former Fairmont High School standout TaNiya Simms, defeated the Glenville State Pioneers 88-71 in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The contest was held at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex at noon, marking the Rams’ first round matchup against the Glenville State Pioneers during the tournament.
Winston-Salem State’s next tournament game is scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at 5 p.m. at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.
