The Bladen County Republican Party alleged that the Democratic Party’s image as the party that cares most about essential issues to minorities is a false assertion.
The county Republican Party made the claim in an Oct. 13 Facebook post, saying that minorities should “... understand that the Democrat Party has lied to them.”
The Bladen County Republican Party questioned if Black voters who supported Democratic candidates have reaped any benefits from those votes.
“Democrats have sent wage-earner jobs overseas. Democrats have trapped our kids in failing schools,” the county Republican Party said in the post. “Democrats have allowed rioters to destroy our cities and neighborhoods. Democrats claim to be ‘Pro-Choice’ but don’t want to talk about how over 900 Black babies are aborted every day! That works out to more than 19 million Black babies killed since the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision.”
The post also claimed that Democratic policies have mostly hurt minority communities.
“But now, Trump has reversed failed Democrat policies, and sent economic, employment, and educational opportunities for Blacks thru the roof.” the post states.
