Overview: A cold front will approach the eastern Carolinas on Tuesday and remain over the area through Friday.

Overview: A cold front will approach the eastern Carolinas on Tuesday and remain over the area through Friday. A scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected each day. Through the week the highs will range between 82°-86 °F. Lows will range from 69°-72°F inland and 72°-75°F at the coast.

Primary Threats:

• Stronger thunderstorms have the potential of producing very heavy rain will isolated

areas of flooding in low-lying and poorly drained areas.

• The is a low risk of rip currents for all the beaches this week. Even though the rip current threat is low, life-threatening rip currents often in the vicinity of groins, jetties, and piers.

1 to 2 “ of rainfall is expected over the area today through 8 AM Saturday.
